Our adult acrobatics classes combine acrobatics, tumbling and fitness. They give you a chance to improve your balance, strength, body control and acrobatic technique in a playful and supportive setting. These skills are vital for circus performance; our acro classes give you a great base from which to explore other circus disciplines later on.
At the start of class, students will be taught how to properly and safely warm up their bodies as well as their wrists. Once prepared, the class will learn conditioning, flexibility, and body strengthening exercises, and acrobatic drills that will all work towards more advanced tricks.
The beginners and improvers classes run alongside one another, with a tutor for each class. The drills and tricks will be tailored to the ability of the class. On occasion beginners and improvers may come together to warm-up or to practice specific movements.
