Ensemble theatre training to support your creative journey

This is a supported and free creative project for young artists, performers and theatre makers aged 18-25 years who wish to gain experience in theatre making with and for children.

The project is free to attend (for Hackney residents) and offers participants training in theatre making from performance and facilitation skills to technical theatre.

What we are offering:

- Trainee roles available in performance, technical theatre, facilitation and stage management

- Experience in creating theatre with and for children

- Performance fee for school performances (paid at London Living Wage)

- Travel expenses for rehearsals and performances

- DBS certificate organized to continue facilitation work

- Mentoring support from Arcola Theatre staff. To support career development, CV preparation, casting, audition preparation, funding applications and how to continue working in the theatre industry.

- Access to Company Wellbeing Officer throughout the project

Who can take part:

- Young people ages 18-25 that wish to learn and gain experience in devised theatre with and for children

- No experience required. Open to all levels of experience

- For those living in Hackney
