Experience Opportunity

HAF The Stage, Screen and Snacks Workshops

For young people aged 12-16, Exeter Northcott’s Holiday Activity Fund workshops offer an exciting introduction to the world of theatre.

Each session covers the essentials of stage performance, including easy character development and scene work, providing a solid foundation for those new to acting. Participants will also explore basic screen acting using scripts from some favourite films and TV shows. We will also spend time each day making paninis together, blending culinary creativity with their passion for performance.

All are welcome regardless of experience levels or confidence – you will be supported to have the best time possible with us.

Places will be prioritised for school aged children and young people from reception to year 11 (inclusive) who are receiving benefit-related free school meals, and their families. Each child will receive a code from the county council if they are eligible, and we will be contacting all bookers to check their code.

Please note HAF is not for children on universal free school meals. 15% of the funding can be used to subsidise places for children who are not in receipt of benefit related free school meals but match the following criteria:

  • Children in care
  • Children previously looked after
  • Children with EHCP
  • Young Carers

Please note the number of these places are limited.
