Join award-winning magician Kevin Quantum and The Lyceum's Creative Learning Officer, Sophie Howell, for a full day workshop that explores how a ‘trick or puzzle’ can be elevated to the level of ‘magic’.

We will examine, at an introductory level, three key character and presentational elements of many magic performances, working with participants to understand and enhance their own skill set and participate in the often misunderstood genre of theatrical magic.

The real secrets of magic lie not in the tricks or illusions, no matter how fantastical, but the character of the magician and the theatrical skills they have, allowing the audience to be free to believe.
