Experience Opportunity

Mousetrap Mentoring Programme

The Mousetrap Mentoring Programme is designed to give under-represented young people a supportive environment to start their career as a participatory Arts Practitioner. Our aim is to bridge the gap between early training and the skills they need to become a successful freelance practitioner. The programme will connect young Mentees with experienced Creative Practitioners, and provide them with both one-to-one guidance and practical experience to help build their confidence, resilience and skills.

On offer:

2 x Mentee placements on 6 month programme running from January to June 2022.

The programme will include:

5 one-to-one meetings with one of our expert Creative Associates (your Mentor)

The chance to shadow your Mentor at (at least) 2 workshops

A paid fixed-term placement as a Workshop Assistant on a Mousetrap project during the 2022 Summer term
