North East Deaf Youth Theatre
North East Deaf Youth Theatre is back with brand new monthly sessions for 2023!
Starting on Saturday 21st January, North East Deaf Theatre aims to support deaf children and young people to develop their creative skills, build confidence and form new friendships.
Together with deaf arts organisation Turtléar, we will explore theatre-making including, creative writing, storytelling, acting, lighting and backstage skills to create our very own productions to share with friends and family.
Workshops are delivered by Creative Associate EJ Raymond. EJ is profoundly deaf and a BSL user and graduated from Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Glasgow in 2018 (BA Performance). EJ is an actor, writer, and founder of Turtléar.
Workshops are free to attend and you can book on to as many (or as few) as you like!
