A masterclass for artists who are of the global majority and/or identify as disabled. They will join Caroline Partridge, performer, puppeteer, communication specialist and Puppet Centre Trust chairman, alongside Slot Machine Artistic Director Nick Tigg for a hands-on workshop in puppeteering and object manipulation for performance.

This masterclass is for anyone over 18 with a professional performance background, but who might not yet have had extensive puppeteering experience. It’s an opportunity to learn about or improve an increasingly sought-after skill.

During the three hours you will have the opportunity to try out hands on puppeteering, using a variety of puppets and objects, and we’ll look at a variety of styles from bunraku to object manipulation.
