Terrifying Women II: A Stockroom Workshop

Plus, the opportunity to pitch for one of three new commissions to be produced in their next Terrifying Women show this October!

Terrifying Women was founded in order to highlight the lack of women writing horror for the stage; the company is dedicated to producing new horror work by women and in an exciting new partnership with Stockroom, the Terrifying Women Morgan Lloyd Malcolm, Abi Zakarian and Sampira Al-Fihri invite you to join them for three unique workshops, a day of debate and discussion, and the opportunity to pitch for one of three new commissions for their next Terrifying Women show in October.

Morgan, Abi and Sammy will each lead a workshop on a variety of horror themed topics as well as co-hosting a workshop on how to pitch for a horror play. Anyone attending will then have the chance to submit a pitch for a short horror play which Morgan, Abi and Sammy will then select three to be commissioned and produced alongside three new plays they are presenting at the next Terrifying Women show this October – Terrifying Women II: The Return!

The workshops are open to all women and non-binary creatives; we are an LGBTQI inclusive company. There will be two BSL interpreters in attendance throughout the day and sensory guides and content warnings will be made available in advance. Stockroom has gender neutral toilets and a wheelchair accessible toilet with these specific dimensions: turning circle to access is 75cm; there will be further wheelchair accessible toilets available at nearby locations.
