TINA The Musical - Wigs Trainee (Part Time)
Featuring her much loved songs, TINA – The Tina Turner Musical is written by Olivier Award-winning playwright Katori Hall and directed by the internationally acclaimed Phyllida Lloyd. Opened in 2018 the show plays at the Aldwych Theatre in London’s West End.
The Wigs Trainee is a six month rolling position that is designed to give people aspiring to work in the Wigs, Hair and Make Up Department an introduction to what it is like to work on a large scale West End Musical. This position will develop their skills in setting wigs ready for the performance, assisting cast members with wig/hair changes backstage and maintaining and washing wigs.
The Wigs department is a busy and fast paced department and this is a great opportunity for someone who has had limited professional experience within theatre and is keen to kick start their theatre career.
We are particularly keen to hear from those candidates who feel they have faced a barrier to gaining access to the arts.
