Ever wondered what it's like to work in theatre?

Our work experience programmes are designed to give you a taste or what it's like to work with us. We're offering one week of hands-on experience in three core areas of our business:

Technical - Your time will be spent shadowing our expert theatre technicians overseeing how the magic of theatre really happens: observing how the lighting desk is programmed and operated and how the follow spot lanterns are used to highlight the actors on stage. There will also be the opportunity to see how the mechanics of the flying and counterweight systems are used to move scenery and the importance of tying a good knot!

Theatre Management - During the week working with the Theatre Management team you'll see what it takes to ensure the smooth operation of the theatre. Our theatre managers are responsible for making sure we operate commercially and safely whilst ensuring our audiences have the best experience.

Commercial - The week will be split between the central team in Head Office and the Box Office teams in our venues. Our ticketing team are responsible for working closely with our show producers to ensure tickets are sold for the best possible prices, whilst providing top class service.

Placements are limited and are only available to young people who are 16 or older.
