Experience Opportunity

Young Tower Theatre Works Open Day

Are you 16 – 21 and curious about working in the theatre industry?

Young Tower Theatre Works is the Tower Theatre’s new Theatre Making course introducing young people to every aspect of putting together a stage production. Over 12 weekly sessions your course lead, alongside Tower Theatre experts, will introduce you to directing and performing, as well as other production skills like stage management and set/sound/light design. You will also explore props, costume and hair/make-up, working together to create a unique showcase event to take place on the Tower Theatre stage itself.

As one of the longest running and busiest non-professional theatres in the country and with about 20 productions every year, this is your chance to experience stage life up close, become a member of the Tower Theatre and even audition for a Tower Theatre production! Find out more about production teams at the Tower Theatre. Spaces on the course are very limited.

Sign up for our Open Day on 7 October from 1pm -3pm to meet the team at the Tower Theatre and find out more!
