We are thrilled to announce the launch of the VOICEBOX FUTURE VOICES Award, a new initiative designed to empower young creatives making an impact in arts, culture and their communities.

Through VOICEBOX, we amplify young voices, explore big ideas and support projects that drive meaningful change—and with the FUTURE VOICES Award, we’re investing directly in the next generation of changemakers.

This Award Offers:

• An £800 cash prize to help an individual or group develop their creative practice or bring a project to life. Open to UK-based writers, campaigners and innovators aged 18-30, the FUTURE VOICES Award seeks applicants whose work tells powerful stories, tackles social issues, or supports positive change.

Along with the cash award, the winner will receive:

• The chance to create an event in our 2025 VOICEBOX programme, part of Cheltenham Literature Festival
• Access to our Writers’ Room, offering networking and valuable insights into the arts and culture sector
• Year-long mentoring and support to help grow their project
