The Herds - Emerging Training Company

The Emerging Company is a once-in-a-lifetime 10-week training programme with the internationally renowned team behind The Herds. We are searching for talented, dynamic and physical performers to join The Herds Emerging Company training programme for 10 weeks in Spring/Summer 2025.

  • A 10-week intensive training programme in puppetry and public art performance
  • Expand your skills in physical performance working alongside seasoned puppeteers led by Artistic Director Amir Nizar Zuabi

Your accommodation, travel and food expenses will be covered by the production. Some travel exclusions apply.

The Emerging Company is an unpaid experience. You will be asked to pay a £500 deposit to secure your place, which is refunded in full when you have completed the programme. Bursaries are available.

Requirements

• You need to audition to join the Emerging Company, which has a limited number of places. Auditions are open to all aged 21-35.
• Some prior experience of performing and training is required. Prior experience of puppetry is not required.
