This fund supports individual creative and cultural practitioners to focus on their development and take them to the next stage of their practice. 

This fund is all about you and your development.

You can apply for development activities related to our supported disciplines. For example: 

• building new networks​
• experimenting with new collaborators or partners ​
• international travel to explore your practice​
• professional development activities, such as
  • training
  • working with mentors ​
• research and development time to explore your practice and take risks

We don’t normally support:

• activity that focuses on engaging people and communities in the short-term
• project-based activity where there’s no clear step change in your practice

Can I get support to apply?

Yes, access support is available to help remove barriers.

We provide support including alternative versions of the Guidance for applicants or paying for a support worker.
