Further Than The Edge are running open-level Acting Workshops for adults in various venues.

Starting in September, catch these at:

• 10 sessions - Tuesday evenings from 29th September and Wednesday mornings from 30th September - The Hub, 02 Centre, Camden NW3.
• 10 sessions - Friday mornings from 2nd October - Basil Jellicoe Hall, Camden NW1.
• One-off workshop - Saturday 26th September - part of Totally Thames Festival 2026 - Poplar Union in Tower Hamlets E14.
• One-off workshop - Sunday 27th September - part of Totally Thames Festival 2026 - Cody Dock in Newham E16.

These workshops are a focused, motivating and safe creative space.

They're designed to accommodate both beginners and people with experience who want to develop their existing acting skills to build continuity in their work. This is a chance to develop more confidence in your creativity, your skills of voice, space and movement, through warm-ups, exercises, approaches - and most importantly to work collaboratively on scripts and improvisation.

Extracts from a contemporary script will be taken as the working material for acting approaches and explorations across the workshop sessions. If you already have a script or play extract that you'd like to do some work on, we're open where possible to fitting this in, just let us know.

You can book per session, for any number of sessions, or for all 10, and you don't have to start on the first session.
