TheatreCraft26: How the Hell Do You Build That? - Inside the World of Scenic Construction

Ever wondered how a sketch becomes a giant set, a realistic building or a completely impossible-looking world on stage? Join S.A.S Works for a behind-the-scenes look at the world of scenic construction.

Discover how scenic teams turn creative ideas into something real, from the first drawing to the finished build, with stories, photos and examples from projects we’ve worked on. We’ll explore the materials, techniques and problem solving that go into making scenery, and what it’s really like working in the industry. The session will finish with a Q&A, giving you the chance to ask questions about scenic construction, careers and getting into the industry

This session will be hosted by Sam Stuart, CEO of S.A.S Works.
