Delivered in partnership with the Unity Theatre, LAUNCH is a professional development programme for emerging theatre makers in Merseyside.

Its main mission is to equip emerging artists, theatre-makers and brand new companies with the right tools to enable them to launch a career in the arts.

This is our original group for young people aged 14-21 who meet in Liverpool. We make plays that mash up dance, spoken word, music, song, street dance and even puppetry! If you are interested in any of these art forms and want to make challenging plays with a difference.

Blue Apple’s dance programme is designed to be a fun and creative means of developing fitness and self-expression.

Some of us are natural dancers, but have not had the discipline of dancing with others in a routine before. Many have only danced to pop music and some are too shy to have done much of that. At Blue Apple we began by learning to be aware of others in the dance group, to move in time with each other, to react and respond, learn and remember a routine.

Through dance people with differing degrees of mobility have to think about timing and moving together, being aware of where each person is, responding to music and remembering a simple routine which may involve working in a circle, in pairs or as part of a large choreographed group. People who have never danced before appear delighted with their achievement.

We develop our dance experience in many ways. Some of us dance because we just love dancing and music and want to get fit. Some dance to help tell the story in our main shows and others tour commissioned dance performances locally and nationally.

Classes follow the school academic term.

£88 per term payable in one or two instalments. (£83 if already a Blue Apple Company member).

Taking part in the arts and sharing skills
Bronze Arts Award develops young people’s artistic abilities alongside their research and communication skills. This level involves them in the arts as creators and audience members, and encourages them to take their first steps towards leadership by sharing their learning with others.

Arts Award Discover is the start of the Arts Award adventure. It takes children and young people on an artistic journey as they explore the arts all around them, investigate different art forms, research an artist, and then share their discoveries with others.

Choose from CLASSICAL BALLET, MODERN DANCE, TAP CLASSES, PRIVATE SINGING LESSONS, ACTING CLASSES, LAMDA EXAMINATION CLASSES, MUSICAL THEATRE (COMBI CLASSES), STREET DANCE and GROUP SINGING.

Bambino Ballet and/or Bambino Combination

Bambino Ballet - £40 per month (£5.00 off Monthly to any child who signs up to BOTH Bambino classes)
Children are encouraged to use their imaginations and creativity whilst developing real music and dance skills. During these carefully designed classes, pupils use a variety of fun props and musical instruments to enhance their learning. Ballet Based.
Mums and Dads are welcome to watch and enjoy!

Bambino Combination - £40 per month (£5.00 off Monthly to any child who signs up to BOTH Bambino classes)

Children will learn fun exercises and commercial routines to some of their favourite current pop songs using lots of exciting props and accessories. Singing and Drama games will also be included.

Parents are asked to join in with their child to give them a little helping hand during the session.

This Funky Feet class will not only boost their confidence but will also help them with their co-ordination and performance skills.

Whether you are an aspiring Actor or wish to revitalise your creativity, our Acting Foundation Course offers an energetic, inspiring and practical experience

Over five consecutive days, you will participate in masterclasses and workshops, providing you with a solid foundation in acting. You’ll gain a broad experience in the skills required to deliver a convincing performance and work on core acting techniques.
