Artists in the 21st century increasingly find themselves working in participatory settings where skills in creative and social engagement are essential. This programme addresses these changing needs and facilitates a shift in thinking away from conventional ideas about where art practices are located and how work is disseminated.

The course offers focused provision enabling you to develop an appropriate level of knowledge and research to inform practical work, together with the critical and analytical processes and technical skills required to effectively deliver a project in the public domain.

- Taught by an inter-disciplinary team of artists and specialists from social anthropology, social and collaborative art practices and sculpture, who work across a range of local, national and international contexts, from urban centres to remote and small communities
- You will have the option to meet in real life during the annual Winter School located in rotating locations in the Highlands and Islands
In the final stage of the module you will choose your own mentor from local, national or international specialists

Voice Magazine is a platform for young people to express their views and opinions on arts, cultural and media events, as well as growing their experience in these areas too.

Every day, Voice is asked to cover events, launches, performances and other arts and cultural events across the UK and online. We are now giving YOU the opportunity to cover these events yourself and in return, write a review of the event and upload to our online Voice Magazine!

This role is UK wide – therefore if you're in Wales, Scotland, England or Northern Ireland and aged 16-30, you are welcome to apply. You don't have to be from the area to attend the event – for example, if you are from Wales and want to attend an event in England, you are welcome to do so however we will not be able to cover travel expenses.

This is an unpaid role however you will have access to EVERYTHING we get invited to, so if you're an avid arts and cultural fan this is your perfect opportunity to become a part of our Voice Reviewers team and see even more! Opportunities are on a first come first served basis. As they come into our inbox we'll send them out to all reviewers and the first to respond will be allocated the event. In return, we ask that you upload a review of the event within 48 hours of it taking place. This role is for 16+ only.

Front Line Lambeth gives 16–30 year olds the opportunity to discover more about careers in the arts and culture sector, and develop key transferable skills through paid placements in Front Of House and hospitality roles.

Participants will watch an Old Vic production, shadow industry professionals and take on important roles within various Lambeth creative organisations such as Beaconsfield Gallery, BFI, South Bank Centre and Streatham Space Project.

Front Line gives 16–30 year olds the opportunity to discover more about careers in theatre and develop key transferable skills through paid placements with our Front Of House team.

Participants will watch one of our productions, shadow various members of staff and take on important roles welcoming patrons to our theatre.
