BYO Hub is British Youth Opera's digital portal, which offers online learning, exclusive career events and easy applications to BYO's face-to-face programmes.
The next generation of singers, directors, designers, stage managers and music staff grew up online and so that's where we are too.
In addition to our Priority Access Membership we are proud to introduce our membership for people between the ages of 16 - 25 completely free of charge.
The 16 - 25 Membership grants access to free tickets* on selected performances.

OV Backstage offers paid placements on an Old Vic production to six 18–25 year olds from underrepresented backgrounds in the arts.
Participants shadow an industry professional across 15 paid sessions and get hands-on experience in one of the following disciplines:
- Costume
- Production Management
- Set
- Sound
- Stage Management
The project culminates with a networking session to help participants take the next steps in their careers.
Each participant will receive a fee for taking part in the programme. Additional support for travel costs is available if required.

Blue Apple’s dance programme is designed to be a fun and creative means of developing fitness and self-expression.

Some of us are natural dancers, but have not had the discipline of dancing with others in a routine before. Many have only danced to pop music and some are too shy to have done much of that. At Blue Apple we began by learning to be aware of others in the dance group, to move in time with each other, to react and respond, learn and remember a routine.
Through dance people with differing degrees of mobility have to think about timing and moving together, being aware of where each person is, responding to music and remembering a simple routine which may involve working in a circle, in pairs or as part of a large choreographed group. People who have never danced before appear delighted with their achievement.
We develop our dance experience in many ways. Some of us dance because we just love dancing and music and want to get fit. Some dance to help tell the story in our main shows and others tour commissioned dance performances locally and nationally.
Classes follow the school academic term.

Our Acting Beginners Course offers an introduction to acting in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Ideal for those with little or no acting experience, this beginners acting course provides the chance to explore acting technique in a playful and practical way.
Whether you are an aspiring performer; wish to revitalise your creativity; or simply want to try something new and build self-confidence, you will find this course active, fun and rewarding.

Our Ballet Beginners Course provides a fun introduction to Ballet, designed for adults of all fitness levels. Our experienced ballet professionals will guide you through fundamental techniques in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
If you are new to Ballet then this course is the perfect way to start your journey. These ballet lessons are also suitable for those of you seeking to refresh your skills.

Our 5 day Dance Foundation course is ideal for those looking for more intensive training and wishing to build a solid foundation in dance technique.
During the course you will raise your performance ability and further your knowledge across a variety of dance genres, all helping you to gain confidence to pursue future dance training.
Our intensive foundation runs five full days back to back. Each day consists of a full day of classes, which provides you with well-rounded and concentrated dance training. The primary role of a Digital Marketer is to define, design, build and implement digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms to drive customer acquisition, customer engagement and customer retention. A Digital Marketer will typically be working as part of a team, in which they will have responsibility for some of the straightforward elements of the overall marketing plan or campaign. The marketer will work to marketing briefs and instructions. They will normally report to a digital marketing manager, a marketing manager or an IT Manager.
This course covers marketing theory, including: The core principles of marketing, understanding of customer segmentation, the customer lifecycle and customer relationship management as well as focus on digital skills including Social Media, Email Marketing, PPC and SEO plus much more. There is also a coding module where the apprentice well gain a greater understanding on using code in marketing as well as understanding how the web works
