We strive to be a creative hub in the city that allows for peer learning and support, nurturing a culture of shared opportunities and experiences to support in career development and sustainability.

We know that all work, at every scale, starts somewhere and that it can be incredibly difficult to access space and support to develop new work in it's initial stages.

As part of our Studio programme, we have created Open Door to new and developing professional work.

The Cultural Learning and Participation Officer Apprenticeship provides hands-on experience, mixing practical and administrative work with college learning underpinning your experiences.

Over the course of the Apprenticeship you will gain professional experience in arts administration, practical workshop delivery, project management and leadership, and will receive on-going mentoring and coaching from the Learning, Education and Participation (LEAP) Team and Chichester College staff. You will predominately support the Children and Young People strand of the LEAP programme. 

You will work towards completing a formal apprenticeship in Cultural Learning and Participation, which is celebrated and monitored throughout the role in a portfolio of work, culminating in an End-Point Assessment.

This is an ideal first qualification in Art and Design, which could lead to employment or further education. It allows you to re-take your GCSE in English and Maths while building up your Level 2 grade profile so you can progress to further studies at Level 3.

This Level 2 course is based on practical assignments which often involve educational trips and gallery visits, giving you the opportunity to develop skills in a range of Art and Design-related areas including: 2D and 3D mixed media, ceramics, graphic design, photography, art-based moving images, textiles, painting and drawing skills.

Stage One created Bridge the Gap to diversify the current field of commercial theatre producers and therefore strongly encourages individuals from underrepresented backgrounds and outside of London to apply. Explore contemporary performance to develop your creativity, critical thinking and practical skills for a career in creative industries and beyond

Drama in the School of Arts and Humanities provides an exciting and challenging programme with an emphasis on contemporary performance practices. Our approach to teaching and learning integrates theories and practices of performance in order to extend our understanding of Drama as an art form in its social, political and cultural contexts.

Our expert lecturing staff are internationally-recognised researchers with a range of industry-related experience. Students are able to take advantage of our nationally-acknowledged teaching expertise and will have opportunities to extend their experience of contemporary performance practices through contact with part-time staff and key visiting lecturers. The Drama programmes benefit from extensive links with theatre practitioners and key Irish theatre companies, who use our spaces for performances and delivering practice-based workshops.

Drama allows students to learn in a rigorous and stimulating environment where they are encouraged to develop essential skills as thinking creative practitioners.

The European Reminiscence Network announces a new training course and apprenticeship scheme in reminiscence arts in dementia care - in partnership with the University of Greenwich.

This 2-day training course and 4-month apprenticeship scheme will appeal to theatre and performance practitioners working within:

Delivered as either one-year full-time or part-time over two years, this MA programme will empower you to elevate your skills in leadership, management and sustainable business practices.

Join us from anywhere in the world – the programme can be completed entirely online or combined with in-person residency intensives. You also have the option to take accredited short courses to add to your learning experience and enrich your personalised journey.

The programme is delivered in modules, where you’ll be supported by RCS lecturers and industry experts to critically engage with your practice and to refine your identity as thinker, maker and leader. Core to the programme is the exploration and critical thinking around contemporary leadership and management theory, enabling you to upskill, reskill or take your career forward as a change-maker in the arts.

Zoo Co is keen to introduce more deaf and/or disabled people to the practicalities of being a Trustee with an arts organisation

We recognise that volunteer Trusteeships aren't always accessible to deaf and disabled people, so we've set up this programme as an experiment in changing that.

We'd like to offer two people the chance to observe each of our next two Board meetings, supported by our new Board Support Worker.

£100 per Board meeting (approx 0.5 days of work across 2 weeks, per Board date)

Dates: 6th May 6-8PM and 12th Aug 6-8PM

Location: Central London - meetings are usually held at the National Theatre (Central London) in person, though people can join remotely as needed.

You can apply to observe both meetings, or just one (ie. between 2 and 4 people will be selected to take part in this work). Please indicate in your application which dates you’re able to do.

We hope the Studio will be a home for playwrights of all levels of experience, helping us to connect and making a range of opportunities accessible in a joined-up, sustained writing package.

This one-year, practice-led, modular programme for creative graduates will evolve your practice and enhance employability in a world-leading performing and production arts education environment.

As contemporary creative artists often work across and beyond the traditional boundaries of artistic disciplines, the focus will be on bespoke, individual learning.

You will engage in critical inquiry to identify meaningful goals and develop essential knowledge, skills and attitudes for success in your artistic journey.

Throughout the programme, you will have the opportunity to build a professional network and receive support to critically engage with your practice in order to transform your creative identity.

It will also help you enhance your skills for freelance work, employment with creative agencies or further academic study, while expanding your professional network.

This is a flexible programme, where you’ll work alongside RCS lecturers and industry experts, as well as our network of national and international partners.

The MA is designed to integrate with your existing arts practice and includes a significant amount of student-led learning. It will be complemented by intensive residencies at the beginning and end of the programme, as well as online delivery, one-to-one support, and peer group learning.
