This Level 2 course in make-up will introduce you to the skills and knowledge required to apply make-up techniques, taking into account skin types, face shapes, styles of make-up and corrective techniques
You will also study associated health and safety along with client care and providing lash and brow treatments that can also enhance the make-up looks you create.
On completion of this course you will achieve a City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Make-Up.
This course costs £241, including exam fees.
You may be eligible for free study if you are 23 or under and this is your first full Level 2 or 3 course. Alternatively, if you are unemployed, receiving an eligible benefit, and taking the course to help you find employment.
The Creative Media Production HND further develops students’ practical skills and project management skills in preparation for a career in the creative media industry. Participants will use professional standard equipment and software to produce a substantial portfolio of media projects with emphasis on student conceptualisation, design and execution from the ground up through to completion.
The course emphasises practical studio production skills whilst further developing a creative and professional approach to media production in a more challenging environment with opportunities for live briefs working with local organisations and businesses. A cross-level programme which focuses on the skills required to progress onto further training as an Actor, whilst also developing general performing arts skills, run by the Eastern School of Performing Arts (ESPA). Gain an excellent grounding to become a versatile performer and develop your individuality and performance skills to allow you to progress on to drama schools, university and employment.
Across the programme you will participate in a wide variety of projects that introduce you to varied styles, genres and methodologies. With a focus on development of the practical skills required, you will explore areas such as devising, classical text, contemporary text, movement and voice. The projects will develop your skills within acting styles such as naturalism, epic, surrealism and physical theatre, through scripted and devised projects.
This course is aimed at students who wish to gain more experience working in a professional setting before auditioning for top drama schools or professional work. This course is unique in that it is fully funded for anyone who is 18 to 19 years old at the time of enrolment (Advanced Learner Loans are available for anyone 19+).
ESPA provides industry-experienced tutors for all their courses, enabling students to develop skills required for their next steps. The course is highly vocational and you will spend your days in the studio with highly experienced industry professionals.

A comprehensive dance course where you will develop a wide range of skills across multiple dance disciplines whilst advancing your individuality and performance technique, run at the Eastern School of Performing Arts (ESPA). Gain an excellent grounding to become a versatile dancer and develop your individuality and performance skills to allow you to progress to professional dance schools and employment. You will train across a variety of genres including: choreography, ballet, contemporary, jazz, commercial, musical theatre and tap.
You will develop your performance skills along with learning about the performing arts business. All assessments are written and developed to enable students to gain and develop skills whilst gaining a qualification. You will undertake an additional ABD Ballet Exam to support your progression to sought after colleges and/or universities and develop your technical skills. ABD qualifications are recognised by UCAS and contribute towards your points calculation.

You could also enter employment in theatres, TV studios, cosmetic counters and on cruise ships.
This course provides an excellent grounding for those wishing to build a career as a make-up artist. This course consists of both hair and make-up modules including: make-up applications, hair preparation services, dressing and finishing hair, face and body art painting. You will have the opportunity to complete work for various competitions locally and nationally which have seen previous students take home numerous awards for their amazing designs. You will gain work experience in either a hairdressing salon or as a make-up artist.
