Applications are now open for A Pleasance Scratch on 18th & 25th November!

The Pleasance is proud to support a large number of developing artists every year through our various Pleasance Futures initiatives, and our scratch nights are an opportunity for you to have the first glimpse at what these talented theatre makers are creating next.

We offer the free opportunity to perform on our Main House stage, free rehearsal space, free photography and mentoring through our theatre department. 

We provide:

• Mentoring and support from our team
• A slot in our Cabaret Main House theatre to share your 10 minute piece of theatre work-in-progress with an audience and get their feedback
• The opportunity for seed funding in order to develop the piece
• Professional photos of your performance
• Basic technical support from the performance
• Rehearsal space opportunity at Pleasance London

Each project should:

• Engage its own performers and creative team as necessary
• Provide any props the performance requires
• Provide all technical requirements with as much notice as possible
• Be available all day on Wednesday 18th OR Wednesday 25th November 2026
