A Slice of the Pie is A Play, A Pie and A Pint’s scratch night, which takes place three times a year at Òran Mór in Glasgow. This is typically February, July, and November.

A Slice of the Pie aims to engage new artists who A Play, A Pie and A Pint (PPP) have not worked with before in a paid capacity, letting new emerging artists take centre stage at every Slice night.

Artists involved with A Slice of the Pie are able to develop their practice on the PPP stage, get to know the PPP team and build new relationships with fellow artists.

All opportunities to work on the scratch night are openly recruited for, to level the playing field within the industry. Each night showcases the work of 3 writers, 3 directors, and 5 performers.

DIRECTOR CALLOUT:

We are looking for three directors to direct one piece each.

The callout is open to any directors who are 18+ years old, based in Scotland, have never worked with us in a paid capacity, and have some directing experience.

PERFORMER CALLOUT:

We are looking for performers to act as part of the ensemble cast.

The callout is open to performers who are 18+ years old, based in Scotland and have not worked with us in a paid capacity. We are particularly interested in hearing from performers who identify as Global Majority.
