Applications are invited from exciting, energised, new entrants to the profession to join NMPAT’s Teacher Training Programme and learn what becoming an instrumental and vocal teacher in the 21st Century entails. This is a unique opportunity to join a career entrants training programme, ideally suited, but not limited to recent/new graduates keen to expand their range of skills and interests.
Candidates should be proficient in their principal study, ideally to degree-level or equivalent standard. Applications will be welcomed from individuals wishing to specialise in Strings (upper and lower), Woodwind (Double Reed), Keyboard, and SEND for children with additional needs.
Previous teaching experience is not necessary but candidates must be enthusiastic about a career in instrumental and vocal music teaching. Candidates will need to have excellent communication skills, be well organised, presentable and have a passion for the musical and broader education of children and young people. A driving license and access to a car is desirable but not essential.
