It’s Friday evening, 9pm, and a group of young people head into the forest for an evening round the campfire. Singing songs, playing games and telling spooky stories is all to be expected, but, with a group of young people out in the forest alone… you never know when something might go wrong…
Over the week you will develop your skills as a theatre maker, create interesting characters and dialogue, learn key skills of acting, and perform your brand-new play to an audience of parents, families and friends!
This project is for any young person aged 11-18, who will have just finished school years 7-13.
The project takes place Monday 4 August to Friday 8 August 2025, 9am – 3.30pm, every day at Hull Truck Theatre.
There will be a sharing on Friday 8 August, 3pm that parents will be invited to come and watch.
We are committed to the idea that finances shouldn’t be a barrier to participation, please get in touch if you would like to discuss reduced prices or bursary places.
