Insaafi Theatre are teaming up with Collective Acting Studio to host a celebratory workshop; to help aspiring actors understand the nuances, history and relevancy of South-Asian stories across theatre, film and television. We will be joined by actors who have worked across South-Asian television (Sony TV Asia, Zee TV, Star Plus etc.) and throughout regional theatres that span Great Britain. It will be your chance to have a go at reading new text, playing some drama games, trying your hand at screen acting and - above all else - having some fun. 

For context and clarity, this workshop is open to everyone interested in South-Asian theatre. It is a relaxed, safe and inclusive space. 

The event will take place at Collective Acting Studio on Saturday 28th March 2026, between 15:30 and 17:00.
