If you want to get involved in theatre, Play in a Week is a week-long Easter course for ages 8-13 that will culminate in a performance.

Whether you’ve participated in Youth Theatre before or you’re brand new to Leeds Playhouse come along to play in a week.

Work with the Leeds Playhouse’s Youth Theatre Artists to devise a play fit for the stage. A fun-packed week where you’ll develop performance skills, make new friends, play drama games, explore your creativity and perform your play at the end of the week, all in the Leeds Playhouse rehearsal spaces.

During the week, participants will learn skills and techniques in areas such as Voice, Movement, Devising, Text Analysis and Improvisation.

No previous experience necessary. Participants will be grouped age appropriately.

Dates: 2 – 6 April, 10am – 4pm each day
There will be a performance for family and friends on 6 April.
