If you are a professional actor or stage manager and are unable to work because of:
- Injury
- Illness
- Or old age
you are eligible to apply for help from the Actors Benevolent Fund.

Those who receive funding from ABF are able to manage their household expenses, including a regular weekly payment and contributions towards bills.

From time to time, they also able to help with larger, one-off payments, such as disability aids or kitchen appliances. ABS also offer benefits advice, to ensure they are getting all the support they're entitled to. But, perhaps most importantly, ABS offer a friendly support service to make sure individuals know they're still a part of the acting community.
