A one year advanced diploma course with Acting or Musical Theatre pathways, for students on completion of their A-Levels.
This free foundation course prepares capable students for drama school auditions, and offers Classical, Contemporary and Musical Theatre performance opportunities at a variety of venues - Jackson Lane, Southwark Playhouse, The Vaults & Cockpit Theatre.
This Monday to Wednesday drama school experience also offers classes in screen acting, voice and movement.

Over thirty tutor-led hours of training every week, leading to assessments and performance opportunities relating to your chosen pathway: Classical, Contemporary, Devised, Physical Theatre or full musicals. Highly qualified teachers deliver excellent training in purpose built premises.
This is a fully funded opportunity for committed and talented young people looking to develop their talent and creative potential.
Successful completion of this course will allow you to progress to the HND in Performing Arts at The Eastern School of Performing Arts or study at prestigious performing arts schools.
Previous students have gone on to study at establishments such as: Arts Ed, Guildford School of Acting, Urdang, Performers College, Bird College, Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama, Italia Conti, Liverpool Theatre School, Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts and Stella Mann.
Progression to year 2 is subject to successful completion of year 1.
This Level 3 course is designed to further develop the practical skills and theoretical understanding of studio production, live sound and the music business, giving you a working knowledge that can be both applied and developed further
The course has a technical and production-based focus, which prepares you for a career in the music industry. You’ll develop your skills in our fantastic purpose-built studios, under the guidance of our expert staff, all of whom have extensive industry experience, from a range of roles within the music industry. This qualification is the equivalent of up to 168 UCAS Points.

On this course you will study a wide range of makeup application skills and techniques, you will also learn how to style and dress hair and wigs.
You will take part in a range of exciting work experience placements which will build on your portfolio and build connections with employers. We also support our students to enter WorldSkills UK competitions each year, where you can showcase your creative skills and technical expertise.
On this course, you will explore an exciting range of styles including tap, ballet, jazz, street and contemporary (including Graham, Cunningham and Limon technique). Dancers will also discover their creative voice through choreography and improvisation workshops.

This course develops your talent, extending existing skills in order to prepare you for a career in a variety of media, including theatre, screen and creative technologies.
You will take part in skills classes in acting, voice and physical theatre as well as drama workshops, rehearsals and productions. There will be many opportunities to perform a range of scripted plays on stage in a variety of theatre styles. Youll also develop skills and techniques in acting for the camera by creating short films that will be screened in front of a public audience.
You will be involved in devised and scripted drama ranging from the varied realms of contemporary theatre to classical texts. You will create performance work in a range of styles and contexts and reflect upon your developments and learning in a digital portfolio. You will work collaboratively, creatively and reflectively throughout the course.
In addition you'll benefit from trips to Shakespeare's Globe, the West End and regional theatres to see examples of theatre practice and benefit from tours, talks and professional workshops.
