In our first graduating class alone, we saw 94% of our student cohort move on to study at higher education in accredited drama and musical theatre schools, universities and our own industry-led ICTheatre degree.
Throughout the course, you will have plenty of opportunities to follow your passion and develop your performance skills. You’ll also explore and improve on the techniques required for success in the creative industries. You’ll then direct your study focus into one of three pathways:

With each pathway, you’ll receive a minimum of 18.5 contact hours, training across various disciplines specific to your route of study. You’ll also have a range of optional modules to choose from. These allow you to home in on the career-specific skills and techniques that interest you most.
As a performing arts student, you’ll have the chance to expand your creative and networking skills with an array of unrivalled opportunities. These include classes with visiting industry professionals, exclusive Masterclasses and panels, theatre trips and the chance to get involved in our full-scale productions (such as plays, cabarets and concerts). This course is ideal for students who want to further their experience of art, design and media, and develop their ability and confidence. The majority of students use this course as a stepping stone to aLevel 3 Diploma in Art and Design, though others may choose alternative further study pathways or full-time employment.
This programme is for advanced students with exceptional aptitude in their specialism, and strong professional and artistic ambitions. It provides specialist, professional training if you are looking to embark on a national and international career.
The Artist Diploma represents post-Masters progression, and is designed to meet the specialised needs and aspirations of outstanding performance students, and to support them with the competence and sensitivity required.
All Diploma students work towards a vocational qualification in Musical Theatre or Dance.
The College aims to provide the broadest possible musical theatre and dance training, majoring on a student's individual talents and giving each student personal attention.
This enables them to graduate with professional confidence secure in the knowledge that they are prepared for whatever the industry demands of them.
The duration of our Diploma course is three years and the minimum age of entry is 16.
Level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance at Italia Conti aims to produce highly skilled, creative and thinking dance artists and provides students with a comprehensive training in all aspects of dance.
The course will give you the necessary technical, creative and performance experience and skills necessary to become a professional dancer. This is achieved through a rigorous curriculum, focused on studio-based practice and creative exploration, underpinned by key elements of contextual study.
The training programme offers core skills in a range of dance genres and skills, supplemented by supporting subjects that enable students to pursue their own interests.
Workshops and masterclasses throughout the course offer students the opportunity to work with a wide range of professionals who specialise in particular areas of dance.
Public performances and an Industry showcase consolidate everything that has been learnt in the classroom and gives students the confidence and experience to perform in front of an audience.
Training to be a professional performer in Musical Theatre requires many things:

A YEAR OF FOCUSED, FULL-TIME, APPLIED DRAMA TRAINING
Open to applicants between 18-24, our Peer Actor Development Programme (PAD) could help you continue learning whilst using your talent to make a difference in the lives of other young people. During your year at Peer you will have the opportunity to work with industry professionals, to tour in theatre productions and lead outreach projects - as well as getting support with Drama School applications and auditions. This is the perfect launch PAD for your future and career.

The PAD Programme has been designed with young people’s potential, talents, and ambition in mind. We want to equip them for whatever their next steps in life might be and help launch their careers.
Most of our young actors go on to drama school or higher education, and many former alumni have established successful careers in the industry.
The course is accredited using the RSL Level 4 Creative Practitioner Diploma, a qualification specifically designed for aspiring industry professionals. It offers specialist career-focused training for artists, producers and entrepreneurs across the creative industries. At Peer, our course runs for FREE, full time from Monday to Friday.
All the young artists who train with Peer Productions are individuals, with their own unique strengths, areas for development and ambitions. As a result, no two learners will have the same path through the qualification and learning opportunities offered.
