The Roundhouse Poetry Collective is a year-long programme for emerging poets to create and experiment with their writing, develop their performance, learn about the industry and join a supportive community in the heart of London’s spoken word scene.
Although you don’t require professional experience, we are looking for poets looking to commit to advancing their skills in writing, performing or seeking a creative career. Whether you’ve been attending writing classes for a while or are a frequent open mic performer, we would love to hear from you.
The Lyric Hammersmith Theatre and the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) are looking for young people aged 16-21 who live in West London to take part in Future Technicians, a free two week technical production course! Our cohort will gain insight into film and theatre production, working with industry professionals to create high-quality content and live performances.
We are particularly interested in hearing from young people from the global majority, young people who are D/deaf and disabled, young people from low-income households (measured by access to Free School Meals in the last 6 years) and young people in care / care leavers as we recognise these groups are currently underrepresented in the technical production industries.
Week 1
You will be focusing on production for live theatre, designing and programming all creative lighting, sound, staging, and costuming elements for a scene performed by professional actors, culminating in you operating a live performance of this scene for friends and family.
Week 2
You will be focusing on virtual production, filming scenes with professional actors on LAMDA’s state of the art LED Volume, making creative and operational decisions in every step of the filming process. This culminates in a screening of short films for friends and family.
Kids Week is back for 2026, offering families the chance to see top West End shows with free tickets for children throughout the summer holidays. During Kids Week, one child aged 17 and under can go free with every full-paying adult ticket, with additional children able to attend at a reduced rate.
The annual initiative gives young people and families the opportunity to experience live theatre across a wide range of productions including musicals, plays and family shows in London’s West End.
Participating productions in previous years have included long-running musicals, new plays and award-winning family favourites, alongside workshops and theatre activities designed specifically for younger audiences.

Francesca Moody Productions is seeking a Trainee Producer to join its award-winning team for a 12-month paid placement in London. FMP creates bold original theatre, television, film and audio, developing work from fringe beginnings through to international success. Their productions include global hits such as Fleabag and Baby Reindeer, alongside acclaimed new work across the West End, Edinburgh Fringe and beyond.
This placement offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the producing and general management teams across a wide range of projects, supporting the day-to-day running of productions, development activity and company administration. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in commercial producing, artist liaison, scheduling, budgeting and festival producing, including work connected to Edinburgh Fringe projects and Shedinburgh.
FMP are looking for someone who is highly organised, collaborative, proactive and passionate about contemporary theatre and live entertainment. This role would suit an emerging producer eager to learn within a fast-paced, ambitious and artist-led environment.

Masterclass and Shakespeare's Globe are offering a paid Theatre Assistant Internship for someone aiming to gain experience with a view to working in theatre producing or general management.
The Theatre Assistant Intern will shadow and work closely with members of the Theatre Department, to provide general administrative and practical support to the Department and carry out tasks specific to the productions running in the venue or in development.

The Stage One Producer Placements offer aspiring producers the opportunity to work within an established production company or producing theatre. They are employed by the organisation for 12 months, learning the producer role through hands on training.
The producing trainee will play a key role within the busy producing department at the Royal Court, supporting all aspects of production. Co-line managed by the producers, they will work alongside and in support of the producing assistant, to provide value adding support on the delivery of productions, as well as the work of our New Writing and Participation Producer and Casting Associate.
Whilst you will work full time within the offices of the Royal Court, you will have consistent communication with Stage One, its staff network, as well as access to many additional Stage One training opportunities.
