Our Level 2 Performing Arts course will equip you with the skills to develop as a rounded and versatile performer. On completion, you will be ready to move up to our Level 3 programmes, which will prepare you for a variety of progression opportunities, including university degrees, specialist dance and drama school training and stage careers in a range of settings, including touring theatre companies. The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills as a professional make-up artist working with performers to a high level of occupational ability, to enable you to provide hair and make-up services in the media, theatre, performing arts, fashion and photographic industries.
Level 3 Diploma in Theatrical, Special Effects and Hair and Media Make-up is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills to an advanced level through a variety of techniques in the following units; media, special effects and camouflage make-up, how to apply ready-made small prosthetic pieces and bald caps, monitor and maintain health and safety, client care and communication, style and fit a postiche and how to apply the complex skill of airbrush make-up.

A Level Drama & Theatre Studies combines both the theoretical and practical study of a wide range of classical and contemporary practitioners.

Drama & Theatre combines the study of practical performance with the history and social context of theatre. It is the study of a range of practitioners and acting styles, as well as reading and analysing plays.
