Artsadmin offers free one‑to‑one micro‑mentoring for UK‑based artists, producers and creatives working in contemporary performance, socially engaged and live art practice at any career stage.
Creative Support Sessions are friendly, one-to-one conversations with a member of Artsadmin’s team where you can explore your ideas, develop projects, and talk through any professional questions. They are informal, confidential, and tailored to your needs.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Sessions usually last 45–60 minutes and each artist can access one free session per year. You can use a session to:

Introduction to... Directing will be led by Hull Truck Theatre's Associate Director, Tom Saunders. This programme is designed to equip you with essential tools to bring your creative vision to life.
A weekly 2-hour deep dive (across a 6-week period) from 29th September - 10th November.
Hull Truck Theatre’s Introduction To… programme gives adults (18+) the chance to work with professional theatre makers to deepen their understanding of theatre, express their creativity and meet like-minded individuals. With three exciting subjects to choose from during this term, participants are invited to try their hand at something new, develop confidence and make new friends.

Are you passionate about theatre and curious about what it takes to work in the industry? Join Edinburgh Playhouse for an exciting week-long programme designed for young people aged 14–18 who want to explore the many career opportunities available both on and off the stage.
Learn directly from industry professionals about a wide range of theatre careers, including:
Participants will enjoy a combination of practical workshops, industry talks, Q&A sessions, live theatre experiences, and hands-on work experience. Taking place alongside Jersey Boys, this unique opportunity includes a chance to watch the production and hear from members of the team working behind the scenes to bring the show to life.
ABOUT THE PROGRAMME:
The aim of this week is to inspire the next generation of theatre-makers and artists by showcasing the many pathways into the industry. From the talent seen on stage to the skilled professionals working behind the scenes, participants will gain a deeper understanding of what goes into creating productions and running a successful theatre.
PROVISIONAL SCHEDULE:
Times: Approximately 10:30am–4:00pm each day, with later finishes on show days. Thursdays and Saturdays are likely to finish around 5:00pm. Schedule will be sent out to participants at least 1 week in advance

Southwark-based artists are able to apply for free use of Canada Water Theatre to support the development of creative ideas through rehearsals and closed R&Ds.
