‍Nonsuch Young Company Advanced is Nottingham's most creative Youth Theatre for children aged 12-15!

Nonsuch Young Company (Advanced) is an exciting new youth theatre from Nottingham's fastest-growing creative venue & theatre: Nonsuch Studios.

Each week, Nonsuch Young Company Advanced will have the opportunity to build on their interests in drama and theatre making learning skills so you have Everything you need to make a play, be it acting, devising, directing, stage production, performing etc. NYCA is a place for young people to be themselves, build confidence, develop theatre skills, make friends and have fun.

Each group will work towards a public sharing performance in the summer term, along with our Home Rangers group and NYC group. This will be a relaxed event and a chance for all Nonsuch Studios' young performers to showcase their work for friends and family at the end of the year.

The About Face Stagecraft day is ideal for people who want to widen their practical and technical theatre knowledge.

As well as improving your acting skills, you will have a chance to learn about script writing, make props, costumes and scenery.

We meet in Leominster every Friday from 9.30.a.m. - 3.30.p.m.

Kick start your writing with our Creative Writing School - 5 day Intensive courses, part of our Summer Schools and Intensives programme. On our writing course, you will develop your ideas in a supportive environment with guidance from an expert tutor. Try your hand at multiple writing formats, from prose to screenplay, and develop your writing style.

No previous experience is required. Just bring an idea with you to work on during the course.

Our Writing for Film courses explores the fundamentals of screenwriting from first idea to final draft. You will learn how to approach story, develop characters and dialogue, and to structure your ideas into a fully-fledged screenplay. Using film clips and practical writing exercises, the course also includes advice about next steps from writing treatments to pitching your work. BCE have created a unique Digital Marketing apprenticeship offer built around the principles of the level 3 ‘Digital Marketer’ apprenticeship standard.

Apprentices learn in real time the techniques and strategies relevant to today’s fast paced industry, thus insuring the ability to inaugurate apprentices into your business faster and more efficiently.

Creative Apprenticeship Standards are level 3 apprenticeships (A level equivalent), combining work-based learning with ‘off the job training’.

Big Creative apprentices are trained in specific skills relevant to the digital marketing industries by industry professionals, utilising cutting edge digital and online delivery, industry masterclasses and practical projects.

The CPA intensive Workshop can be booked either online or in person by individuals and/or organisations desiring a live in-house group session (maximum 15 people). The session is convened by Jacqueline Malcolm or one of the CPA Ambassadors, and includes either access to the CPA Online workbook or, if a live session is required, the 100+ page printed CPA Workbook.
