On our Musical Theatre MFA course, you will gain a broad range of musical theatre knowledge and skills while performing in a variety of outstanding productions.
Supported by first-class teaching, your learning will involve a working knowledge of historical, critical and theoretical content, and the creation of performances that will be presented to agents and professionals for maximum industry exposure. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a professional placement, giving you invaluable experience of the UK musical theatre industry.

East 15 Acting School’s BA Acting and Contemporary Theatre course is renowned not only for its pioneering, highly influential training program, but also as a creative hub that produces original, bold theatrical work.
This unique and highly challenging pathway is dedicated to training multi-talented actors. We combine developing your skills as a performer with experimentation in European physical theatre, devising, creative writing, composition and cross-media art, allowing you to expand into roles such as actor/musician, actor/writer and actor/choreographer. The training is inspired by leading contemporary international companies such as Complicite, the Schaubühe and the Wooster Group.
Our philosophy sees the actor as an independent, inventive and entrepreneurial ‘artist’, and gives you the confidence and the competencies necessary to realise your artistic inclinations.
This course is taught at our picturesque Loughton Campus which is located on the edge of East London and is just a short 30 minutes by underground train from the heart of the capital’s West End theatre district.
East 15 Acting School’s BA Acting course develops your individual talent, imagination and skill so that you graduate as a creative, proactive and collaborative practitioner ready for a career in the performance arts industries.
From the start of your course you are introduced to the basic methods and theories of acting, particularly the work of Konstantin Stanislavsky, Sanford Meisner and Rudolf Laban, working in small groups with our professionally experienced staff.
In the first and second year, through a step-by-step process you will advance your knowledge and versatility as an actor. In your final year, you will concentrate on professional development adapting your skills to work with a range of visiting directors and other industry professionals.
Our training in acting is about exploration. You will experience a wide range of rehearsal techniques - learning technical skills and applying them to many diverse acting challenges. You will leave as a knowledgeable, professional actor with a creative approach and a solid process.

Ideal for those in full-time employment, our MA Theatre course from the Guildford School of Acting (GSA) provides a gateway to an exciting future without the need for regular attendance on campus. Our course allows you to study at your own pace through online learning, so you can pursue your passion for theatre and develop industry connections around your existing commitments. GSA is accredited by the Federation of Drama Schools (FDS). You’ll have unlimited access to our virtual learning environment which will be supported by industry-leading professionals and passionate academics.
This course is designed for students who have the talent, passion and commitment to become a professional actor but would also like to gain a BA (Hons) acting degree.
The course is 80% vocational which broadly consists of 50% classes across all disciplines (Acting, Voice, Movement, Media, Preparation for the Profession) and 50% scene studies and productions. 20% will consist of written project work in journals, essays, blogs and recordings.
During the first two years training in core skills provide a solid foundation from which to work from and in the final year there are multiple productions and several opportunities to perform in front of the profession. Our full-time courses are vocational and practical. We will guide you through Spotlight and Equity membership and provide an industry career launch to present you to professional agents and casting directors.

The three year D&B Diploma in Musical Theatre is the perfect start for professional performers, providing a strong grounding in practical technique and performance skills. We boast an incredible number of contact teaching hours and students can expect to have at least 33hours per week of in-person tuition from our incredible faculty.
Accredited by the Council for Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre (CDMT), our three year course is balanced equally between singing, dancing and acting. Our goal is to develop our students to be triple threats, equally as confident to tackle lead roles in TV, Film and Theatre and finding their passion on stage, on set or in the studio.
The course is entirely practical with no academic pre-requisites. Students are all expected to take an external examination with either the London College of Music or the UDO in order to qualify as teachers of Acting, Singing or Street Dance before they graduate.
