Nonsuch Young Company Advanced is Nottingham's most creative Youth Theatre for children aged 12-15!
Nonsuch Young Company (Advanced) is an exciting new youth theatre from Nottingham's fastest-growing creative venue & theatre: Nonsuch Studios.
Each week, Nonsuch Young Company Advanced will have the opportunity to build on their interests in drama and theatre making learning skills so you have Everything you need to make a play, be it acting, devising, directing, stage production, performing etc. NYCA is a place for young people to be themselves, build confidence, develop theatre skills, make friends and have fun.
Each group will work towards a public sharing performance in the summer term, along with our Home Rangers group and NYC group. This will be a relaxed event and a chance for all Nonsuch Studios' young performers to showcase their work for friends and family at the end of the year.
Our open access courses, no audition required.
RYT Academy classes are fun and engaging, skills-based workshops with individual, termly modules. Whether you are a budding young actor or your aspirations lie in an unrelated field, this is a great way to develop life-skills and self-confidence. Classes are fun, interactive and ensemble based.
At the end of the term, the children will have the opportunity to share their work with friends and family.
Classes are held every day of the week, at Rose Theatre, Kingston and local external venues.
Act 2 is for Years 7 - 13
Our Act 2 course is a popular continuation of the skills and confidence founded in Act 1. The course is designed to introduce students to a whole range of acting techniques. Each term offers a varied theme from naturalism to Shakespeare to immersive theatre, with every session designed to develop skills, improve confidence and complement studies at school. You do not need to have been in Act 1 to start with us at Act 2.

Following support from the GeeWizz Charitable Foundation, Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds are delighted to offer SENsory Youth Theatre.
These groups support young people who identify as learning disabled, neurodivergent, having SEN, or other social, emotional, and mental health needs. These groups give them the opportunity to participate in creative play within a fun, friendly, and accessible environment.
SENsory Youth Theatre starts a new term in January at Theatre Royal!
- Juniors (Ages 4 - 12) every Tuesday 4:15 - 4:50

This full-time vocational course provides you with an artistically safe and supportive environment, to develop your creative instincts and prepare for future training and career opportunities within the performing arts.
Gain an understanding of different vocational routes and benefit from career tutorials to explore your next steps, alongside focussed audition preparation and 1:1 coaching on auditions.
The course is framed by a focus on discovery. You’ll be trained to develop your own personal skill strengths, cultivate independent growth, expand your artistic vocabulary and grow as a creative artist.
A CertHE course is a great option for students from a wide range of backgrounds, whether you want to develop your skills before progressing to a 3-year training option or as a standalone course before entering the industry.
LOCATIONS
The CertHE Musical Theatre course runs in several locations in partnership with leading arts venues, giving students the opportunity to study in some of the most creatively vibrant & exciting locations within the UK.
All course locations are taught by Mountview staff and will cover the same syllabus.
COURSE CONTENT AND DELIVERY
Spanning over two terms of study, the CertHE course offers a fast-paced, vocational training environment.
Throughout the course students will investigate and develop their existing practical skills in Musical Theatre, as well as having the opportunity to work in a rehearsal setting and ultimately present a shared performance.

We are a diverse group of actors who love coming together to share a passion for drama. Not only do we have tonnes of fun, meet new friends and boost confidence, we also get professional theatre training thrown in!
